Just 4 of us set off on a glorious day to explore Martins and Scandretts Bays. Some of the highlights were the 20 odd dotterels on the grass at Martins Bay. We were told they fly in each day from Beehive Island. The views were just magnificent. The lambs… the history and gardens at the Scandrett homestead… All day long we kept on commenting about the views. It was stunning. To top the day off we went and fed the donkeys at Highfield Gardens Reserve.
The Fab Four had no problem remembering one another's names. A small group meant we shared not only the walk and the vistas, but also experiences and stories. Thanks, team.
