Six of us set off for a loop walk at Fisherman’s Rock Reserve.  The walk covered varied terrain, with interest supplied by: suburban streets (Gulf Harbour and Army Bay); Hauraki Gulf views; cliff-top houses and cliff views; 17th hole at the now-closed Gulf Harbour Country Club golf course; and Shakespear Regional Park with beach, bush, waterfalls and farm land. An enjoyable day with good company on a now-rare (mostly) sunny Auckland day.
