On a perfect walking day in Whatipu a gaggle of 20 WOPpers, led by Jill, set off on Karamatura Loop through the stunning bush of Karamatura Valley. Moving on to Mt Donald McLean track we reached the 389m summit to enjoy spectacular views of Manukau Bar and beyond. Looping back down through the valley we stopped at Karamatura Falls for a photo op before making the final leg of a very satisfying hike.
