A great team of 16 keen WOPpers led by Elizabeth set out to explore a section of coastal Greenhithe and Hobsonville.
We explored a bushy track that led down to a quiet pohutukawa-fringed beach in Greenhithe. Our group then crossed the Upper Harbour Bridge and joined the Hobsonville Coastal Walkway. This is an almost flat, looping track that hugs the peninsula's shore line and then cuts across from coast to coast.
We enjoyed the harbourside views and peaceful bush clad gullies as well as the bustling waterfront at Catalina Bay.
A good day was had by all.
