Seventeen lovely WOPpers used all modes of transport for this wonderful walk, a first for many. The walks continue to wow us as the leaders keep adding exciting tracks. There were tui galore with their various tunes. Linda did warn us about ups and downs, but the views were spectacular and the clouds simply mesmerizing!

Walking through a rather deserted township on the way back, we were sad that the icecream shop was closed for winter. However, we treated ourselves to very upmarket pops which had fantabulous flavours! As we were about to leave, the captain announced that there were dolphins around the ferry, so we all got up to check – not much luck, but I managed to get a couple of fins. Thanks, Linda, for a beautiful day.
