It promised to be a beautiful sunny day as happy WOPpers met at Lynfield Cove, only to find that a helicopter and tree felling had beaten us to it. So we moved on to Strathnaver Reserve, and off we went along the Waikowhai Walkway.
We had mixed terrain and noticed quite a bit of track damage from storms. There were lovely views of Manukau Harbour, delightful little coves, parks, regenerating native bush, cliff-top lookouts and some urban walking.
Thank you, Jenny B, for leading. It was a great walk.
