A great group of 16 WOPpers led by Elizabeth walked from the Waiheke Island ferry terminal to Park Point, a beautiful trail that showcased the island’s natural beauty, rich biodiversity and stunning views.
The path passed through a mix of coastal bush, open fields, vineyards and bays. The elevation gains and descents provided glimpses of the sparkling blue water of the Hauraki Gulf. We were treated to panoramic views of Rangitoto Island and the Auckland skyline in the distance.
